Ava and Alex’s Garden Wedding Planned by Charlotte Grace Design
Ava and Alex knew Magnolia Plantation & Gardens Events was the one on their first visit. Once they had the venue, Charlotte Grace Wedding Design helped shape the rest of the day around it.
A ceremony under the oak
Alex is a landscape architect, so the florals were a natural way to bring his work into the day. Working with Charlotte Grace Wedding Design, the couple had greenery climb the ceremony cross beneath the oak, setting the tone for a celebration that felt rooted in the grounds themselves. That thread continued at the reception, where garlands hung overhead.
Ava’s favorites, carried through the details
Ava’s preferences guided the rest of the design. Soft hydrangeas in blue, white, and green appeared on every table and in the bridesmaids’ bouquets, keeping the palette consistent from the ceremony to the last dance. A coastal touch came through in the oyster details, a nod to the Lowcountry setting.
Tying it back to the gardens
The azaleas were in full bloom for portraits, and the tableware picked up the same colors. Blue goblets and green-and-white plates brought the garden palette to the table, so the reception felt like part of the landscape rather than separate from it. It’s the kind of cohesive design Charlotte Grace Wedding Design brought to the day from start to finish.
